If you think I have any skill at all as a devotional writer, Tony DeCristofaro is one of the two people most responsible. (The other is my dear friend Patricia Lorenz.) I was looking for some way to give back to the local Cursillo community after my Weekend, and Tony has this blog. He graciously gave me a chance to be a contributor. That was nearly 14 years ago, and here we are.
But beyond that opportunity, Tony inspires me by the way he consistently lives his faith in action. He’s a loving husband and father, and has spent decades helping to raise funds for charities that serve those in need. Tony reminds me that we need to open both our hearts and our pocketbooks to reflect Christ to others.
Who’s inspiring your faith?

Several years ago I began taking a series of Catholic courses on line. The goal supposedly was to be qualified to teach RCIA, but since we had little call for that here, I just did it for the educational value. After the courses were over, a few of us decided that we would continue a routine we did each week during the course. We would take the Sunday readings and share our take on them with each other.
Our teacher for the course was our center and the 3 of us have been sharing this for several years now. It has been a real comfort for me after losing my husband of 47 years Valentine’s Day of 2017. Having these two women that I can share my deepest thoughts with and the love of Christ has helped me more than I can ever express. I hope we can continue for many more years.
Love this, Fonda! What blessings!
