I’m going to be traveling quite a bit in the coming weeks, so I went looking for something I could read on my Kindle. I wanted
something not too deep, but also not too “pop.”
The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown with its ten guideposts for personal introspection seemed to fit the bill. While I’ve gotten past thinking (most of the time) that other people need to be perfect, I still struggle with God delighting in me as I am as I strive to grow closer to Him.

I picked up Betwixt and Between by Jessica Stilling when it was on special for 99 cents. It’s a murder mystery, but it’s also a retelling of Peter Pan! Fabulous read! I will add The Gifts of imperfection to my wish list.

A book that caught my attention because of the title (and now I recommend it to everybody)I am even going to buy it for all five of our children. The title is: “WHY STAY CATHOLIC” by Michael Leach.
Excellent book.

I keep them in my purse for carpool line, doctors offices, hair salon, travel whenever.
She has written perhaps 10 or more and I am working my way through all of them.you don’t have to read them in order, you can take your pick and enjoy all of them.

The Lamb’s Supper by Scott Hahn. He is very easy to read & listen to as I have listened to some of his podcasts. He comes well-recommended by my sister who had him as a teacher @ The Franciscan University in Steubenville, Oh. I also just finished “The Flame of Love” by Elizabeth Kindelmann.
