Veronica
Biography
As one of the women who accompanied Jesus Christ to the crucifixion, Veronica was so moved by His suffering that she used her veil to wipe His face. The imprint of his features remained on the veil, which she took from the Holy Land and used it to cure Emperor Tiberius.
